The Ventus Pendant is a fabricated brass pendant defined by its shade: a smooth drum whose lower rim undulates in a continuous wavy, scalloped profile. The organic line of the rim is formed directly from brass — no ribs, no frame members — and the wave holds its shape around the full circumference. With the drum closed around the lamp, light is directed down into the room and up toward the ceiling. The fixture is offered in five finishes: Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Aged Brass Patina, Antique Bronze Patina, and Oil-Rubbed Bronze Patina.
Each Ventus Pendant is built in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. The drum shade and its mounting hardware are fabricated from brass members that are cut, formed, and assembled to specification, with the wavy rim aligned and secured at regular intervals so the wave stays even all the way around. All brass components are hand-polished or satined, patinated where specified, and sealed with clear lacquer. The fixture is then electrically assembled to UL standards and tested before shipping.
