Belmont University - McAfee Concert Hall

The McAfee Concert Hall at Belmont University, a Nashville gem unveiled in 2011, stands as a testament to architectural brilliance, where Crenshaw Lighting was proudly selected to enhance its elegance in collaboration with Earl Swensson Associates and acoustician Akustiks, building on our successful partnership from the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Our team crafted a series of bespoke colonial-style pendants and sconces, featuring decorative lamping trees visible through clear, seedy acrylic lenses and illuminated by flame-tip chandelier lamps, all constructed from custom spun, forged, and machined aluminum with a rubbed-bronze finish and open bottoms to ensure pristine aesthetics. These custom fixtures, seamlessly integrated into the concert hall’s contemporary classical design, elevate its acoustic excellence and beauty, providing student musicians with an inspiring laboratory to refine their craft, a role for which Crenshaw is deeply honored to contribute.
