In 2006, Crenshaw was selected to provide decorative lighting for many of the common areas at 15 Central Park West, a luxury high-rise in Manhattan designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects. Every fixture was constructed of heavy-gauge bronze or brass, featuring multi-step applique detailing, custom machined and turned components, and complex structural design elements. Robert A. M. Stern Architects oversaw every detail of the design and implementation.

15 Central Park West epitomizes luxury, beauty, and timeless quality. The high-rise apartment building is home to Manhattan’s elite who enjoy an unobstructed view of the city’s legendary green space. Inspired by the 1920s buildings that flank the west side of the Park, the architecture combines classical and contemporary design elements, a hallmark of the building’s architect, Robert A. M. Stern. In 2006, Crenshaw was selected to provide the decorative lighting for many of the building’s common areas.
The lighting design for 15 Central Park West spares no detail. Every fixture was constructed of heavy-gauge bronze or brass. Multi-step applique detailing, custom machined and turned components, and complex structural design elements are found throughout the family of fixtures Crenshaw built for the luxury apartment building. Robert A. M. Stern Architects oversaw every detail of the design and implementation of these fixtures.
