Custom Lighting

First Presbyterian Church - Myrtle Beach, SC

Crenshaw Lighting collaborated with Mozingo + Wallace Architects to illuminate the First Presbyterian Church with a stunning collection of custom sconces and pendants, most notably the six solid-state LED Colonial Candelabra Pendants, designed to evoke the timeless elegance of traditional colonial fixtures. Our artisans ingeniously crafted an alternative “bulb” housed over a diode, refining multiple frosted acrylic prototypes to achieve the perfect aesthetic balance, delivering a unique solution tailored to meet both performance and design specifications unavailable in the market. The result is an exceptionally efficient masterpiece, with each LED candelabra head emitting 700 lumens at just 4.4 watts and rated for an impressive 70,000 hours—outshining a standard 60-watt candelabra bulb—while preserving the classic colonial charm, enhancing the sacred space with brilliance and longevity.
