Tilton Ceiling Drum

The Tilton Ceiling Drum is a circular flush fixture built from brass: a drum body with clear glass side panels set between vertical bars and a frosted glass diffuser across the bottom. The photo shows it in polished brass; it's also offered in Satin Brass, Aged Brass Patina, Antique Bronze Patina, Oil-Rubbed Bronze Patina, and Standard Paint. The glass panels let the light spill out the sides, and the frosted bottom keeps the glow soft from below.

We fabricate the brass frame rather than die-casting it, which gives the fixture structural integrity that cast alternatives can't match. Each frame is shaped to specification, the clear glass panels are fitted between the vertical bars, and the brass is finished by hand — polished, satined, or patinated depending on the selected finish — then sealed with clear lacquer. The completed fixture is electrically assembled and tested.

Manufacturing Process

Each Tilton Ceiling Drum is fabricated from brass, shaped to specification, finished by hand to the selected option, sealed with clear lacquer, fitted with the glass panels and frosted diffuser, then electrically assembled and tested.
