Symphonia Semi-Flush

The Symphonia Semi-Flush combines turned components with spin-formed elements and a hemispherical white opal glass dome over a ring of machined ball appliques. The fixture is fabricated from plate and sheet brass stock with radial ribs, built with the same techniques we use on our restoration work. Most fixtures at this price use die-cast bodies that limit detail and durability.

The fixture is offered in Plated Nickel, Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Aged Brass Patina, Antique Bronze Patina, and Oil-Rubbed Bronze Patina. The photograph shows the Plated Nickel (chrome) finish; the white opal glass dome is standard across all of them.

Manufacturing Process

Each Symphonia Semi-Flush Mount is built in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. The turned components are produced on CNC lathes from solid brass bar stock. The spun elements are formed from brass sheet stock on traditional spinning lathes. Plate and sheet stock components are bent, formed, and joined using fabrication techniques. Machined ball appliques are turned from individual brass blanks. All components receive hand-finishing; patina is applied where specified and the finish is sealed with clear lacquer. The glass dome is fitted, the fixture is electrically assembled to UL standards, and tested before shipping.
