Solvay Wall Sconce

The Solvay Wall Sconce is a fabricated brass sconce with an arched, art-deco sunburst head, offered in Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Aged Brass Patina, Antique Bronze Patina, and Oil-Rubbed Bronze Patina. Frosted glass diffuser panels dominate the form, set in the brass frame around the candelabra socket, so the light comes from the diffuser panels rather than a bare bulb. The brass is fabricated to specification, individually hand-polished or satined, patinated where specified, and sealed with clear lacquer, then electrically assembled and tested.

Crenshaw Lighting has fabricated fixtures in Floyd, Virginia since 1957; each Solvay is assembled and tested in-house.

Manufacturing Process

Each Solvay Wall Sconce is fabricated from brass, shaped to specification, individually hand-polished or satined, patinated where specified, and sealed with clear lacquer, then electrically assembled and tested in our Floyd, Virginia workshop.
