The Rock Creek Sconce is a one-light Art Deco wall fixture built from fabricated brass. A rectangular backplate with a recessed center mounts to the wall, and a fluted tapered brass column extends from the mount, carrying a single frosted white opal glass globe. The form is strict Art Deco — straight planes, a stepped profile, one light source — and the fluting on the column is cut after forming, which a die-cast body at this scale would not carry. The fixture is assembled from individually fabricated components in our Floyd, Virginia workshop, each hand-polished or satined, patinated where the finish calls for it, and sealed with clear lacquer before electrical assembly and testing. It is offered in Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Aged Brass Patina, Antique Bronze Patina, and Oil-Rubbed Bronze Patina.

Manufacturing Process
Each Rock Creek Sconce is fabricated in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. Brass sheet and plate stock is cut to pattern using precision shearing operations. The backplate is formed using traditional metal bending techniques, with the recessed center created through controlled forming operations. The column is fabricated from brass bar stock, fluted and tapered to pattern, then welded at all joints. All components receive hand-finishing with patina application where specified, then are sealed with clear lacquer. The glass globe is fitted, and the fixture is electrically assembled to UL standards and tested before shipping.
