Plinth Sconce
Tax excluded. Shipping calculated at checkout
The Plinth Sconce is a tapered column of solid brass, turned from a 2-inch bar stock blank — not hollow tube or pipe — topped by a single frosted glass globe. The globe is the light source of the sconce: one candelabra socket, one light. The brass is offered in polished brass, satin brass, aged brass patina, antique bronze patina, or oil-rubbed bronze patina.
Every fixture is turned, hand-finished, and assembled in our Floyd, Virginia workshop, then tested before shipping.

Manufacturing Process
Each Plinth Sconce is turned on CNC lathes from a solid 2-inch brass bar stock blank in our Floyd, Virginia facility. The tapered column is machined to precise tolerances, the frosted glass globe is fitted at the top, and each component is individually hand-polished or satined, patinated where specified, and sealed with clear lacquer. The fixture is electrically assembled to UL standards, then tested before shipping. The solid blank gives the fixture the structural integrity hollow alternatives can't match. The column projects from the wall on the Ø5" backplate, and the single globe at the top keeps the light soft.
