Pillar Table Lamp

The Pillar Table Lamp is a stanchion lamp in fabricated brass, and the column is a faceted, twisted form — each facet cut and set in our shop, not a plain turned pole. The lamp is topped by a tapered conical fabric shade, which is the dominant visible element. The column is offered in polished brass, satin brass, aged brass patina, antique brass patina, or oil-rubbed bronze patina, with the fabric shade in black or tan. The photo shows the fixture with the black shade.

Every fixture is built in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. Brass is formed to specification, the column is hand-polished or satined, patinated where specified, and sealed with clear lacquer; the shade is fitted and the fixture is electrically assembled and tested before it ships.

Manufacturing Process

Each Pillar Table Lamp begins as brass sheet and plate stock, fabricated to specification in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. The faceted column is assembled and welded, then hand-polished or satined by hand, patinated where specified, and sealed with clear lacquer. The fabric shade is fitted over the column, and the fixture is electrically assembled to UL standards and tested before shipping. Fabricated construction gives the column the structural integrity die-cast alternatives can't match.
