Metro Sconce

The Metro Sconce is a tall vertical fixture built around three stacked white opal glass diffuser tubes separated by rings and caps, with slender side rods running the full height of the frame. The frame is fabricated from painted metal members and is offered in Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Aged Brass Patina, Antique Bronze Patina, and Oil-Rubbed Bronze Patina finishes. Fabricated construction gives the fixture structural integrity that die-cast alternatives can't match, and the opal glass diffusers soften each lamp into an even, glare-free column of light.

Each Metro Sconce is built in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. The frame is fabricated from individual metal members that are precision-cut, formed, and welded to specification, then the glass tubes are fitted and hand-seated into the frame. All components are hand-finished for the selected finish and sealed with clear lacquer. The fixture is electrically assembled to UL standards and tested before shipping.

Manufacturing Process

Each Metro Sconce is fabricated in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. Metal sheet and bar stock is cut to pattern using precision shearing operations, then formed and joined with careful welding so the three glass tubes align in a straight vertical column. Each component is hand-finished, polished, satined, or patinated for the selected finish, then sealed with clear lacquer to protect it. The fixture is electrically assembled, tested, and packed for shipping.
