McAfee Flush

The McAfee Flush is a traditional drum flush mount. Light comes from a frosted opal glass drum set inside a brass armature of curved S-arms, with brass spindles rising to the ceiling plate. The curved, chandelier-style frame gives the fixture its character — it is a formal, traditional form rather than a modern one. Fabricated brass construction gives the armature structural integrity that die-cast alternatives can't match. The fixture is offered in five brass finishes, from bright polished to dark oil-rubbed patinas.

Manufacturing Process

Each McAfee Flush is fabricated in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. Brass sheet and plate stock is cut to pattern using precision shearing operations. Components are bent and formed using traditional metalworking techniques, then joined with careful welding. The curved arms are aligned by hand to specification before the glass drum is set. All brass components receive hand-finishing with patina application where specified, then are sealed with clear lacquer. The fixture is electrically assembled to UL standards, then tested before shipping.
