Lebanon Sconce

The Lebanon Sconce is a wall lantern hand-forged from brass with scrollwork, cast rosette accents, and machined finials. The lantern body is hexagonal, and its faces are filled with frosted white opal glass panels, so the brass frame and scrollwork read against a diffused glow rather than bare bulbs. The scrollwork carries the lantern out from the backplate, and the cast rosettes and turned finials handle the traditional detailing. This is a large, heavy fixture — the weight is brass, not a die-cast shell. It is assembled from individual forged, cast, and machined components in our Floyd, Virginia workshop, each hand-polished or satined, patinated where the finish calls for it, and sealed with clear lacquer before electrical assembly and testing. It is offered in Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Aged Brass Patina, Antique Bronze Patina, and Oil-Rubbed Bronze Patina.

Manufacturing Process

Each Lebanon Sconce is built in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. The scrollwork elements are hand-forged from brass blanks using traditional metal forging techniques. The cast rosette accents are produced in our foundry using brass patterns. The machined finials are turned on CNC lathes from solid brass bar stock. The hexagonal lantern frame is fabricated from brass stock, and the white opal glass panels are set into it. All forged, cast, and machined components are hand-finished with patina application where specified, then sealed with clear lacquer. The fixture is electrically assembled to UL standards and tested before shipping.
