Ferric Chandelier

The Ferric Chandelier is a two-tier geometric pendant: straight linear arms at two levels carry three downward-facing conical shades, and the fixture hangs from black cords attached to a ceiling canopy. The frame is fabricated from painted metal and is offered in Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Aged Brass, Antique Bronze, and Oil Rubbed Bronze finishes. Fabricated construction gives the fixture structural integrity that die-cast alternatives can't match, and the straight-arm two-tier form spreads the light evenly across the room below.

Each Ferric Chandelier is built in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. The frame members are precision-cut, formed, and welded to specification; the two tiers are aligned and joined, and the cords are dressed and terminated at the canopy. All components are hand-finished for the selected finish and sealed with clear lacquer. The fixture is electrically assembled to UL standards and tested before shipping.

Manufacturing Process

Each Ferric Chandelier is fabricated in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. Metal bar, plate, and sheet stock is cut to pattern using precision shearing, then formed and joined with careful welding so the arms at both tiers run straight and parallel. The conical shades are fitted and seated, the cords are dressed and terminated, and the canopy is assembled. Each component is hand-finished, polished, satined, or patinated for the selected finish, then sealed with clear lacquer. The fixture is electrically assembled, tested, and packed for shipping.
