The Drumcliff Ceiling Bowl combines multiple fabrication techniques in a single fixture. The bowl is rolled and welded from brass sheet with cast bead applique on the sides. The bottom holds slumped art glass into water-jet cut and rolled arms and staves. The stems feature machined beads spaced in a Fibonacci sequence. The result is a fixture built with the same techniques we use on our restoration work. Most fixtures at this price use hollow tube or pipe. Solid bar stock gives structural integrity that hollow alternatives can't match.

Manufacturing Process
Each Drumcliff Ceiling Bowl is built in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. The bowl is rolled and welded from brass sheet, finished with cast bead applique, then fitted with slumped art glass. The stems are machined with beads spaced in a Fibonacci sequence.
