The Classic Tilton Sconce is fabricated from brass with clean geometric lines. Fabricated brass construction gives the fixture structural integrity that die-cast alternatives can't match. The form is fabricated to specification, individually hand-polished or satined, patinated where specified, and sealed with clear lacquer, then electrically assembled and tested. Built to outlast fixtures made from lesser materials.

Manufacturing Process
Each Classic Tilton Sconce is built in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. The turned components are produced on CNC lathes from solid brass bar stock to precise tolerances. The spun elements are formed from brass sheet stock on traditional spinning lathes. The stepped form is machined to specification with each component turned individually. All brass components receive hand-finishing with patina application where specified, then are sealed with clear lacquer. The fixture is electrically assembled to UL standards, then tested before shipping.
