The Axis Pendant starts as a 2-inch solid brass bar stock blank — not hollow tube or pipe. That's the difference. A solid blank gives the fixture structural integrity that hollow alternatives can't match. The twisted arm is turned to specification in our Floyd, Virginia workshop, hand-finished, then electrically assembled. The result is substantial and built to outlast fixtures made from lesser materials.

Manufacturing Process
Each Axis Pendant is turned on CNC lathes from a solid 2-inch brass bar stock blank in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. The twisted form is machined to precise tolerances, with each component turned individually rather than assembled from hollow tube or pipe. The canopy is fabricated from brass plate stock with precise bending operations. All components receive hand-finishing with patina application where specified, then are sealed with clear lacquer. The fixture is electrically assembled to UL standards, then tested before shipping.
