Aurora Pendant

The Aurora Pendant is a smooth, seamless brass dome. The shade is fabricated — cut, formed, and welded from brass in our Floyd, Virginia workshop — not cast, so the surface runs in one continuous curve from the rim to the crown, with no parting lines or seams at the base. The integrated LED sits inside, aimed at the wall and floor below, so the dome reads as a soft wash of light rather than a bare bulb.

At 17 inches across, the Aurora works as a single statement piece over a dining table, a console, or a wide counter, hung on its long stem so the shade sits low over the surface.

The photo shows one finish. The Aurora is offered in Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Aged Brass Patina, Antique Bronze Patina, and Oil-Rubbed Bronze Patina; hand-finishing is done on every piece.

Manufacturing Process

Each Aurora Pendant is built in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. The dome is fabricated from individual brass members that are precision-cut, formed, and welded to specification. The smooth profile requires careful alignment of each brass element during assembly, and the inside of the shade is finished for even light return. All brass components are hand-finished, with patina applied where the finish calls for it, then sealed with clear lacquer. The fixture is electrically assembled to UL standards and tested before it ships.
