Alehouse Chandelier

The Alehouse Chandelier is built from steel with thick steam-bent Appalachian hardwood — not laminated. The body rings are rolled and welded in our Floyd, Virginia workshop, and the candelabra arms are hand-scrolled in our facility. Nine candle sockets — three on the upper tier including the center, six on the lower — give the fixture its tavern character. The steel construction was chosen for aesthetic reasons: iron and wood look better together for this style, even though it could be made in brass. The hardwood is offered in maple, oak, or walnut, each with an oil-rubbed bronze finish.

Manufacturing Process

Each Alehouse Chandelier begins with a steel body ring that is rolled and welded in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. Thick Appalachian hardwood stock is steam-bent to create the curved elements — not laminated. The candelabra arms are hand-scrolled in our facility into the curves that hold the nine candelabra positions. All steel components receive hand-finishing with black iron finish application, then are sealed with clear lacquer. The hardwood is finished to complement the steel construction. The fixture is electrically assembled to UL standards and tested before shipping.
