Alden Chandelier

The Alden Chandelier is cast from solid brass in a historic gasolier style, built in two tiers: an upper tier of traditional curved arms and a lower tier carrying a ring of white opal glass globe shades. Cast brass construction gives the fixture structural integrity that die-cast alternatives can't match. Each unit is hand-polished or satined, patinated where specified, and sealed with clear lacquer, then electrically assembled and tested.

The fixture is offered in Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Aged Brass Patina, Antique Bronze Patina, and Oil-Rubbed Bronze Patina. The photograph shows one finish; the opal glass globes on the lower tier are standard across all of them.

Manufacturing Process

Each Alden Chandelier is cast from solid brass in our Floyd, Virginia workshop. The foundry casting process produces the arms and body, with each component cast to precise tolerances. After casting, rough edges are ground and the surface is prepared for finishing. All brass components receive hand-finishing with patina application where specified, then are sealed with clear lacquer. The glass globes are fitted, the fixture is electrically assembled to UL standards, and tested before shipping.
