In 2005, Crenshaw restored and replicated historic pendants and created new historic lighting for the Supreme Court of the United States Modernization Project. The new historic lighting is a family of high-performance, period-style bowls with updated compact fluorescent lamping. These provide energy-efficient lighting and improved light levels, all with a historic fixture design in keeping with the Supreme Court’s neoclassical aesthetic.
